Bottles are art pots, like the large jars described in the Jar Category.  Like paintings and drawings in the round.  Tall and strong.  Surfaces on the stoneware bottles can be colorful, from use of oxides and rutile washes, some underglaze, porcelain slip, loose line drawing, map drawing, wire like lines, blueprint like shapes.
