The Lost on Land pottery have the same imagery and surface treatments as boats and allow the viewer or holder several pathways around the piece.  The platters are more like real drawings, as the whole composition is right there, flat, with no surprises beyond.  Porcelain pieces have the same finish as porcelain boats, and the stoneware finish are the same treatment as the boats as well, with porcelain slip, drawing, black underglaze and either clear or celadon glaze.
